Create – a passion for Craft & Design

In an increasingly high tech, mass-produced diposable environment, excellence in design is recognised and appreciated more than ever for the impact it makes, in our homes, in the workplace, in public places and on our identity. Dedicated to innovation in design and superb craftsmanship, the members of the Create Network continually strive to set new standards in furniture design and making in Ireland.

Formed in 2003, this is a group of Ireland’s premier furniture designer makers. Award winning craftspeople, the leading exponents of their art, they produce contemporary innovative work which is distinctive yet functional. Members of the Network live and work all over Ireland and represent a broad range of styles in contemporary furniture design. While their work can be viewed in the context of European Design, it is also influenced by their living and working environment in Ireland.
